Newsletter: The Power Of Gratitude

What if you woke up tomorrow and had only the things, people, and business for which you’ve expressed gratitude?

At this time in the year, when you start to tally your annual accomplishments, it’s important to take the time to thank clients and colleagues who’ve made our work and our accomplishments possible.

We tend to think of business growth as simply finding new clients or new business. But it’s generally easier, and often more rewarding, to instead get more business from your existing clients. Expressing your appreciation for them is step one.

Going into review season, it’s similarly important to pause and express appreciation for your teams. For many people, public appreciation for them and their work can be just as meaningful as the other end-of-year perks that people look to from their leaders and supervisors.

Last but not least, thank you. Mountaintop Consulting just marked its 9th anniversary. I’m humbled each day by the stories you share about our impact. Thank you for opening your careers and companies to us. You make our work feel so worthwhile.
