Alana Mateo

As an Engagement Manager at Mountaintop Consulting, Alana supports client engagement and operational execution across the firm’s coaching programs. She also serves as a liaison to strategic partners and vendors, leading planning, coordination, and communication efforts to ensure alignment and seamless execution across initiatives.

Prior to joining Mountaintop, she spent six years at GLG, where she served as part of the extended executive leadership team and led engagement initiatives for Am Law 100 and Fortune 500 clients. Her top five CliftonStrengths include Achiever, Discipline, and Strategic, which she leverages to deliver solutions that are both thoughtful and efficient.

Alana earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management & Public Policy from New York University, with a concentration in Politics, Rights, and Development.

Outside of work, Alana is a classically trained opera singer and played the cello for over 15 years. She has a passion for travel and is on a personal quest to visit as many UNESCO World Heritage Sites as she can. When she’s not exploring somewhere new, she enjoys spending time with family and loved ones – particularly her puppy, Toast.
