Newsletter: Just Be Yourself
Last month, we posted this quote on LinkedIn: “Every year, you make a resolution to change yourself. This year, make a resolution to be yourself.” It has been one of the most well-received insights we’ve ever shared.
The spirit of the quote is really the mantra of Mountaintop: that each of us will succeed because of our differences, not in spite of them.
Accordingly, a lot of our work on team building and culture building is grounded in the Gallup StrengthsFinder assessment. The assessment helps people see what’s special about themselves, so they can put those talents into practice.
Gallup’s research shows that playing to our strengths helps us feel more productive, more engaged, and more at peace.
